My Trak2 freezes on bootup on the startup screen. What do I do? How do I hard reset / initialize my Trak2
To “software” reset the Trak2, press and hold “Quick Keys” 1 & 2 while powering the unit ON.
To “hard reset” the Trak2 (erases all user memory), press and hold “Quick Keys” 1 & 2 AND the METER button while powering the unit ON.
If the Trak2 still freezes when you power the unit on (even after hard reset), the Trak2 will probably need a new NV-RAM chip. This chip is only installable at the factory.
