Is there more documentation for Pro Tools? I only have a printed copy of the Getting Started guide. Where can I find other manuals like the Pro Tools Reference Guide?

Additional documentation for ProTools can be found in the HELP menu when the application ProTools is running. Clicking on any document in this HELP menu will open a PDF copy of the manual on screen.
The most imporant document in the HELP menu is the ProTools Reference Guide, which comprehensively details nearly all the functions of ProTools. Other useful documents in the Help menu are the Keyboard Shortcuts guide, the Menus Guide, and DigiRack Plug-ins Guide.

If you do not find manuals in the help menu, or ProTools says it cannot open them, look for the manuals stored inside the Digidesign folder on your computer.

For Mac OSX, they will be in:
Macintosh HD/Applications/Digidesign/Documentation

For Windows OS, the will be in:
C:Program Files/Digidesign/Documentation

If for some reason you cannot locate ProTools manuals in these locations on your computer, you can always download the manuals free of charge from the Support section at http://www.avid.com/ .
