Can I swap my 25-pin cable to my Aardvark card with a standard 25-pin computer cable for testing or because I have misplaced or damaged the original cable?
No. This could result in damage to your PCI card and breakout box. The cables which come with the Aardvark cards are specially designed to the proper impedence and wiring.
