I’m getting stuttering audio in Windows XP which never happened under 98, ME, or 2000. What can I do to fix it (Microsoft Windows Messenger bug)?
This is a known bug in Windows XP. There is a fix at the Microsoft site: http://www.microsoft.com/Downloads/Release.asp?ReleaseID=36315 . Run this file and it will update Windows Messenger, which is causing this problem.
