Spitfire Audio Software Activation Instructions for Dedicated Plugins
Getting Started
In this guide we will show you how to activate your new Spitfire Audio software. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to complete each section of the activation process.
Spitfire Audio Account
A Spitfire Audio account is required to activate your new software. If this is your first Spitfire Audio product you will first need to create an account. If you already have a Spitfire Audio account and wish to register your new software to that account, please verify the login before continuing further. In some cases, users may wish to create another account to register their software, so as to distinguish different computers, locations, etc…
Log in to Current Account
- Go to Spitfire Audio.com.
- Click Sign In, enter your login, and then click Sign In.
- Click your user icon and select Order History.
- Verify your current products are registered to the current account.
Create New Account
- Go to Spitfire Audio.com.
- Click Sign In and then click Create my account.
- Complete the form and click Create my account.
- Sign in using your new login to verify your account.
Spitfire Audio App
Spitfire Audio software is downloaded and installed with the Spitfire Audio app. Follow the steps below to install the Spitfire Audio app compatible with your computer.
Download and Install
- Go the Spitfire Audio App page and click the download button for your computer.
- Open your Downloads folder, launch the installer file, and complete installation:
- PC: Double-click the new .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Mac: Double-click the new .dmg file. In the window that appears, drag the icon to the Applications folder.
- Open the Spitfire Audio app and log in.
Configure Settings
- Select the Settings menu.
- Configure the available content and plug-in paths for your computer.
Dedicated Plugins
You must redeem your Product Token with Spitfire Audio to access your software. Once registered with Spitfire Audio, your software can then be downloaded and installed with the Spitfire Audio app
Redeem Product Token
Redeem the Product Token emailed from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer.
- Go to the Product Token Redemption page.
- Log in with your Spitfire Audio account.
- Enter the Product Token sent from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer and click Redeem.
- The product is now registered to your Spitfire Audio account.
Download & Install Software
You can now download and install your software with the Spitfire Audio app.
- Open the Spitfire Audio app.
- Find your product in the Not Installed menu of the Spitfire Audio app and click Install.
- Wait for the download and installation to complete.
