Some operations and sequences of button presses cause my console screen to freeze and/or all the lights to blink or go off. Accessing FX on the digital inputs causes the console to freeze.
This may be fixable with a software update. To check your VM7000’s software version, Press and hold ON/DISPLAY and press #9 in the Scene Memory section. The software version should pop-up.
Currently, the latest software version is 1.5 . It can be downloaded as a series of standard MIDI files, which requires a sequencer to play them “into” the VM. You can also contact Roland tech support & send them your smart media card to load the software.
