Using sliced loops in MOTU’s BPM

BPM has three modes for loops:

* Sample
* Stretch
* Slice

(For full details on each mode, refer to your BPM User Guide.)

You can use Sample or Stretch mode with any audio file that can be loaded in BPM. However, Slice mode is available only for loops which already have slice data saved in them, such as REX files, Apple Loops, or the loops included with BPM’s factory sound library.

If you have a loop which does not have slice data saved in it, use a program such as MachFive, Apple Loop Utility, or ReCycle to add slice data.
