Setting up the Axiom’s Transport Controls in Pro Tools M-Powered/LE.
This is a quick walkthrough on how to setup remote Tansport Control in Pro Tools M-Powered/LE with your Axiom Series Keyboard (25, 49, and 61key versions).
1. The first step is to recall Preset 15 on your Axiom keyboard.
Axiom 25: Press the Recall button on the Axiom 25 and use the +/- buttons to scroll until P15 appears on the Axiom’s LCD screen. Preset 15 is recalled once P15 stops flashing on the Axiom’s LCD screen.
Axiom 49 and 61: Press the Recall button on the Axiom 49/61 and then enter 15 on the Axiom’s numeric keypad. Preset 15 is recalled once P15 stops flashing on the Axiom’s LCD screen.
2. In Pro Tools M-Powered/LE, go to the Setup Menu and select Peripherals.
3. Select the Machine Control Tab and check the Enable Box for MIDI Machine Control Remote (Slave).
4. Click OK. The transport buttons on your Axiom are ready to control Pro Tools M-Powered/LE*.
