How can I send to multiple MIDI channels from Digidesign Pro Tools to Native Instruments Kontakt Player as a RTAS plugin on Windows?
Currently as of version 1.5 of Kontakt on some computers, there is a known bug which only allows one MIDI channel to be sent from Pro Tools to Kontakt. One instance of Kontakt will only play one instrument.
This should be fixed in upcoming releases, please check NI’s website at www.native-instruments.com for updates.
You could also launch another instance of Kontakt on another audio or aux track to get more sounds.
