I see an unusual light pattern on my JBL LSR 4300 speakers: all of the front-panel buttons are blinking and the meter shows 5 segments that are moving back and forth. What does this mean?
This light pattern indicates an error. You can look up these errors in Appendix F of the LSR User’s Manual.
This particular error is Speaker ID Error, which is caused by an improper configuration of the DIP switches on the rear panel of the speaker (usually if all of the DIP switches are set to ‘off’ or if 2 or more speakers have the same ID setting).
To remedy this, correct the DIP switch settings for the speaker ID.
