If I save a project in my host program the snapshots used with any Reaktor ensemble are not saved with it. Each time I reload the project I have to select the snapshots manually for each instrument.

Unfortunately it is not possible to store the parameters of the currently used ensemble with the host program’s file. This is the result of the fact that host programs normally can only save a few kilobytes data per plug-in while a Reaktor ensemble can create too much data in order to make use of this feature. We recommend the following procedure to get total recall with the Reaktor plug-in: Use a project folder for every project you are working on, where you store all files included in this project. After having loaded an ensemble and set the desired snapshot, do a Ctrl click on the disk button in the toolbar to save the Ensemble in your project folder under a new name (Save as…). Finally save the project file (song) in the host. The next time you reopen your project/song, all Reaktor plug-ins will be loaded with the correct ensembles and snapshots (“total recall”).
