How can I save and load I/O Settings in ProTools?

You can label I/O’s in ProTools for your personal equipment. This is very common with PTHD users as their I/O labels are given as very general names, while the defaul labels on PTLE interfaces do a fairly good job of reminding you which input is where.

In Setup menu>I/O Setup, you can rename stereo and mono I/O paths on any of the tabs.

Once you’ve renamed paths, you can use the Export them using the button at the bottom of the I/O Setup window for importing into other sessions using the Import button.
