Roland GT-8 Setting the Patch/Value Dial’s Function
It is possible to set the PATCH/VALUE dial so that it controls “values” only, instead of patch changes and values. This can help in preventing the GT-8’s patches from being changed if the PATCH/VALUE dial is moved accidently:
1. Press SYSTEM.
2. Press PARAMETER Right (>) until “SYS: Dial Function” shows in the display.
3. Turn the PATCH/VALUE dial to select “VALUE Only.”
4. Press EXIT when you’re finished.
