Roland BR-532 The SCRUB Function
Scrub Function:
When editing audio, sometimes you need to know exactly where the sound starts, or exactly where an auto punch-in recording starts. To enable you to find these points accurately, the BR-864 is equipped with the Scrub Function. When you use the Scrub Function during playback (called “scrubbing”), the portion before or after the current location (approximately 45 msec) is played back and repeated.
Using the Preview Function along with Scrub:
With the Preview Function, you can playback the one-second portion of the song before or after your current position. By using this together with the Scrub Function, at the same time slowly moving your current position in the song, it becomes easy to find the exact transition point from one phrase to the next.
