Yes! Aftertouch is an additional key feature, which allows the use to add further performance effects when a key is pressed down. For example, whilst holding a chord or an arpeggiated loop, applying additional pressure to the keys will activate a parameter of the sound such as pitch or filter frequency. This is a great feature on a synth/controller and opens up a whole new world of creativity to the keyboard player.
