Relab Development Software Activation Instructions

Getting Started

This guide will show you how to activate and access your Relab Development software. To continue, follow each of the sections below.  

1. iLok Account
   • Download and install iLok License Manager
   • Sign in with an existing iLok User ID
   • Create a new iLok User ID

iLok Account

iLok licensed software requires iLok License Manager to activate. If you already have an iLok account and wish to register your new software to that account, please verify the username and login before proceeding. If this is your first iLok licensed software, create an iLok User ID to deposit your licenses instead. Most users will only have one account, but in some cases, you may wish to create another account to distinguish different locations, users, etc…  

IMPORTANT! iLok User IDs are case-sensitive. Go to the iLok Account Recovery page to reset your password or recover your iLok User ID.  

IMPORTANT! Do not create multiple iLok accounts if you only need one. Instead, try accessing the account using your current login. If necessary, try resetting your password or recovering your account login.  

Download and install iLok License Manager

1. Go to iLok’s iLok License Manager page and click the download button that is compatible with your computer.  
2. Open your Downloads folder and run the installer: 
   • PC: Right-click the .zip file, select Extract all…, then click Extract. Double-click the new .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
   • Mac: Double-click the .zip file to unpack it. Open the new .dmg file, double-click the .pkg file, and follow the on-screen instructions. 
3. Open iLok License Manager and log in with your new iLok User ID. 

Sign in with an existing iLok User ID

1. Open iLok License Manager. 
2. Log in with your current iLok User ID.  
3. View your account’s licenses to verify the current iLok User ID is the intended destination for your new licenses.  

Create a new iLok User ID

1. Go to iLok’s Account Registration page.  
2. Complete the registration form and click Create Account. 
3. Open the iLok Account Activation email and click on the included verification link.

Relab Development Account

Relab Development software requires a Relab Development account, which is created at registration. If you already have an account and want to register your new software to that account, please verify the username and login before proceeding. Most users will only have one account, but in some cases, you may create another account to distinguish different locations, users, etc…

IMPORTANT! Your Relab Development account is created for you upon redeeming your code. Use the same email address for further activations to register them to the same account.

IMPORTANT! Do not create multiple accounts if you only need one. Instead, try accessing the account using your current login. If necessary, try resetting your password or recovering your account login.    

Sign in with an existing Relab Development account

1. Go to the Relab Development Login page.  
2. Enter your current login and click Login.  
3. Verify your current products are registered to the current account. 

Create a new Relab Development account

• Continue below to redeem your code and create a Relab Development account for the first time.

Redemption Code and iLok License

Sweetwater has emailed you the Redemption Code to activate your software. Open the email, find the Redemption Code, and follow the steps below to register. You will also synchronize your iLok User ID with your Relab Development account to access and activate your software iLok license(s).  

Redeem Code  

1. Go to the Code Redemption page.  
2. Enter your iLok User ID and click Validate Account. 
3. Enter your Redemption Code and click Validate Code. 
4. Complete the checkout process. 

Activate iLok License 

Your software license is deposited to the iLok User ID entered in the previous steps. Use iLok License Manager to activate your new license to a valid location.  

1. Open iLok License Manager and log in with your iLok User ID.  
2. Activate your license to an eligible location.

Download and Install

Relab Development software is downloaded from their Downloads page.

1. Go to the Downloads page.  
2. Click your product’s download button compatible with your computer.  
3. Open your Downloads folder and run the installer:
