Recommended expression pedals to use with Novation products
Pedals recommended for use with Novation products are as follows:
M-Audio EX-P. This pedal has a polarity switch. Set this to M-Audio for the correct response.
Moog EP-2.
Pedals Novation has tested (with known issues):
Roland EV-7 – this pedal has a marginally dead spot with our products (due to the design of the pedal)
Roland EV-5 – this pedal has a marginally dead spot with our products (due to the design of the pedal)
Pedals Novation does not recommend using:
Yamaha FC-7. This pedal has the correct law pot , but incorrect wiring. This can be made to work by rewiring the TRS jack or making an adapter lead, but it won’t work out of the box.
Korg EXP-2. This pedal is totally incompatible.
Line 6 EX1 – Although sold as an expression pedal, it isn’t wired as an expression pedal (mono jack rather than TRS jack).
