Protools Digi001 makes clicks when recording via digital inputs .
1. In ProTools go to “Setups”
2.Make sure your “Sync Mode” is set to the Digital Format you are using , “S/PDIF or OPTICAL”
3.Make sure your ProTools Session’s sampling rate matches the outboard digital device’s sampling rate , and that the unit is putting out Clock via its Digital Output..(Most do this Automatically).
4.Now when you record Digitally you will not hear the clicking. You may want to set your Sync Mode back to “Internal” when you are done recording digitally.
