Pro Tools 11 crashes when I try to open it while using a Roland Quad/Octa/Studio Capture. “Runtime error R6025 – pure virtual function call.”

As of the writing of this article, there is a known issue with Roland Quad/Octa/Studio Captures where Pro Tools 11 will crash on startup with a “runtime error R6025 – pure virtual function call” message when you try to run it with one of those interfaces. Roland is working on fixing this.
All three interfaces work fine in Pro Tools 10.3.6.
