-Why is PostConform locating the machine control deck in a random fashion while loading sources?-Why is PostConform trying to load source items randomly or out of order from the reel/tape?-Why is PostConform prompting me to insert the next reel/tape even though it has not finished loading all sources off of the current reel/tape?-Why is PostConform prompting me to insert a tape it has loaded previously?

This is probably caused by enabling the Use Comments as Region Names preference. Disable the preference by turning it off and create sources again.1. Go to the Options menu and choose Preferences, hit the Conforming menu button and make sure the “Use Comments as Region Names” option is clicked OFF. Hit OK.2. Go to the EDL menu and choose “Select All Events”. 3. Go to the Source Audio menu and choose Clear Selected. It will throw a dialog box that says “Are you sure you want to clear the selected sources? This command cannot be undone.” Click yes.4. Go to the EDL menu and choose Create Sources. What happens? When the Use comments as region names preference is enabled, PostConform will also use those comments to name the audio sources in the source bin. PostConform loads audio from the tape/reel according to the order of the sources in the source bin. It does this from top to bottom but it sorts the sources in alphanumeric order with numbers having priority in the hierarchy and then letters. If you load audio with this preference on, PostConform may not load the audio in the most efficient manner. You can have several sources on one tape in succession according to the EDL but with this preference on, PostConform will not necessarily sort them according to their appearance on the tape. Sources starting with numbers will be loaded first even though there may be other sources on the tape/reel named with letters that physically come before them. As PostConform locates the deck via machine control it appears to the user to be randomly shuttling the deck looking for the correct time code. It will also take substantially longer to load audio sources in this manner. If the preference is turned off, PostConform will name the sources by stating the reel/tape number first followed by the source number from that reel/tape followed by an OMF type description, for example 15A-01abYBx2kR4fr6h0. When PostConform loads sources named in this way, it loads them most efficiently. However, if the user exports the PostConform session with this preference turned off, the regions in their Pro Tools session will be named as mentioned above as well. It’s best to load the audio in with the preference turned off and then turn the preference on before exporting the session to Pro Tools. A user will see no change in the PostConform session upon doing this but the change will be reflected in the Pro Tools session.

The estimated required monthly payment shown which excludes taxes and delivery equals the amount financed divided by the number of months in the promo period, rounded up to the next cent. During the last month(s) of the promo period the required monthly payment may be reduced due to this rounding. These payments apply only with the financing offer shown. If you make these payments by the due date each month, you should pay off this amount financed within the promo period, if it is the only balance you are paying off. If you have other balances on your account, this payment will be added to any other minimum monthly payments.
