OSX: Logic is having problems with Digidesign’s CoreAudio driver
Description:
There are reports about different problems with the latest Digidesign CoreAudio driver. To install this driver an existing ProTools 6.0.1 TDM or LE installation is needed.
Main problems: Trying to start LOGIC 6.1 Platinum with DAE no audio hardware can be found. It is not possible to change from one audio application to another using the Digidesign CoreAudio driver (multi-client operation).

Solution:
If you are using LOGIC Platinum 6.1 with TDM under MAC OSX make sure that the Digidesign CoreAudio driver is not selected in AMS (Audio MIDI Setup).
Please quit an audio application that is using this driver first if you want to use CoreAudio with another audio application.
A future driver update with more features and bugfixes has been announced and no ProTools installation will be needed.
