Noise Engineering Software Activation Instructions
In this guide, we will show you how to activate, download, and install your new Noise Engineering software. Follow the instructions below to get started.
Activate the Software
To gain access to your software, you first must download and install Noise Engineering’s Product Installer. The Product Installer is the central activation and download hub for all Noise Engineering plug-ins.
- Log into your Noise Engineering account. If you don’t have an account yet, you will be prompted to re-enter your password and accept the user terms.
- Noise Engineering will send new users an account verification email. If you don’t see it within a few minutes, be sure to check your spam folder!
- On your account page, copy and paste the plug-in key into the Redeem Plugin Key field, then click REDEEM.
Download and Install Your Plug-ins
IMPORTANT: Your computer must be connected to the Internet to complete the activation process.
The last step in the process is to activate and install the software. Noise Engineering has made the process simple, as you just need to launch the Products Installer.
- Go to the Noise Engineering Customer Portal and download the latest version of the Noise Engineering Product Installer for your OS.
- Navigate to your Downloads folder. Locate and launch the installer file.
- Launch the newly installed NE Products Installer. You will be prompted to enter your Noise Engineering account credentials.
- Once launched, a new browser tab will open and will automatically authenticate your software.
- The software will also be automatically installed.
- Launch your DAW and add your plug-in to a track.
- Depending on the product, you will either add it as an effects plug-in on an audio track or add it as a new instrument track.
- Enjoy your new Noise Engineering software!
Where are the plug-ins located?
Noise Engineering plug-ins are installed to specific folders on your OS and should not be moved, as the Products Installer will be unable to locate them when you update them.
Mac:
- AAX: /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/Noise Engineering/Product Name.aaxplugin
- AU2: Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
- VST3: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
Windows PC:
- AAX: C:/Program Files/Common Files/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/Noise Engineering/
- VST3: C:/Program Files/Common Files/VST3/Noise Engineering/

The estimated required monthly payment shown which excludes taxes and delivery equals the amount financed divided by the number of months in the promo period, rounded up to the next cent. During the last month(s) of the promo period the required monthly payment may be reduced due to this rounding. These payments apply only with the financing offer shown. If you make these payments by the due date each month, you should pay off this amount financed within the promo period, if it is the only balance you are paying off. If you have other balances on your account, this payment will be added to any other minimum monthly payments.
