Neumann Software Activation Instructions

Getting Started

This guide will show you how to activate and access your Neumann software. To continue, follow each of the sections below.  

1. Neumann Account
   • Sign in with an existing Neumann account
   • Create a new Neumann account
2. Serial Number
   • Enter Serial Number
3. Download
   • Download and install Neumann plug-ins
4. Activation Code
   • Enter Activation Code

1. Neumann Account

An account is required to activate Neumann software. If you already have an account for registering your new software, please verify the login and sign in before proceeding. In some cases, users may wish to create another account to register their software to distinguish between multiple studios, computers, accounts, etc.  

IMPORTANT! Do not create multiple accounts if you only need one. Instead, try accessing the account using your current login. If necessary, then try resetting your password or recovering your account.    

Sign in with an existing Neumann account

1. Go to the Login page. 
2. Enter your current login and click “Login.”  
3. Verify your current products are registered with the current account. 

Create a new Neumann account 

1. Go to the Customer Account page. 
2. Complete the form and click “Create Account”. 
3. Complete the form to continue.  
4. Open your email and complete the email verification prompt.   
5. Sign in using your new login to verify your account.

2. Serial Number

Sweetwater has emailed you the Serial Number to activate your software. Open the email, find the Serial Number, and follow the steps below to register.  

Enter Serial Number 

1. Go to the Product Registration page.  
2. Select the Product group and Product name:  
   1. RIME 
      • Product group: Headphone 
      • Product name: RIME 
   2. MA1MCEXT 
      • Product group: Studio Monitor 
      • Product name: MA 1 
3. Enter your Serial Number and click “Check” to complete registration.

3. Download

Neumann software is downloaded from the Download Center page.  

Download and install Neumann plug-ins

1. Go to the Download Center page.  
2. Click your product’s download button compatible with your computer.  
3. Open your Downloads folder and run the installer: 
   • PC: Right-click the .zip file, select “Extract all…,” then click “Extract.” In the new folder, double-click the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
   • Mac: Double-click the .zip file to unpack it. Double-click the .pkg file and follow the on-screen instructions.

4. Activation Code

Neumann has also provided you with the Activation Code to activate your installed software.  

Enter Activation Code

1. Open your software and apply the new plug-in to a track.    
2. Enter your Activation Code to activate your software.
