My TD-50X Won’t Read My TD-50 User Files
The backup data from a TD-50 will not load into the upgraded TD-50X. The operating system and user presets of the TD50X are not compatible with the user data from the TD-50.
To load the data from the original backup, downgrade the TD-50X back to the original software, which can be later upgraded by following the installation guide.
To downgrade the module to the original sounds and software, follow Roland’s instructions on their support page.
