I’m using a MOTU MIDI interface for live keyboards and want to link two sequencers with my keyboards without a computer, but why is the 2nd sequencer not following the Midi Beat Clock of the first?

The best way to do this is to hook the MOTU MIDI unit up to your computer and go into your console (or Clockworks). Start with the two sequencers only. Route the input from the 1st sequencer to the output to the 2nd sequencer. Then hit the output filtering button. Filter all messages except for RealTime (which is actually Midi Beat Clock) by putting an X in all the boxes but RealTime. They should now link up because all other messages which may have been confusing the 2nd sequencer are now being filtered out by the MOTU. Now you may create virtual patches to your other instruments. Save your configuration as a preset in the MOTU interface, and as long as the unit is not hard reset, it will stay as a user preset.
