MOTIF Factory Reset Procedure
This information applies to the following Yamaha models: MOTIF 6, MOTIF 7, and MOTIF 8.
WARNING: All user stored data will be deleted. If the current settings and data are not expendable, create a backup before executing the Factory Reset procedure.
1) Press the [UTILITY] button.
2) Press the [JOB] button.
3) Press the [ENTER] button. A confirmation prompt will appear in the display.
4) Press the [INC/YES] button to execute the reset. The message ‘Completed’ indicating the procedure has been executed will appear in the display.
5) Press the [EXIT] button twice to return to the previous mode.
