Modalics Software Activation Instructions
Getting Started
In this guide, we will show you how to activate and access your Modalics software. To continue, follow each of the sections below.
Modalics Account
Modalics software requires a Modalics account. If you already have a Modalics account and wish to register your new software to that account, please verify the username and login before proceeding. Most users will only have one account, but in some cases, you may wish to create another account to distinguish different locations, users, etc…
IMPORTANT!
Do not create multiple Modalics accounts if you only need one. Instead, try accessing the account using your current login. If necessary, try resetting your password or recovering your account login.
Either log in to your current Modalics account or create a new one, then proceed to Serial Number.
Log in to current Modalics account
- Go to the Modalics website.
- Click Log in, enter your current login, and click Log in.
- Click Order History and verify your current products are registered to the current account.
Create new Modalics account
- Go to the Modalics website.
- Click Log in and then click Sign up.
- Complete the form and click Submit.
- Sign in using your new login to verify your account.
Serial Number
Sweetwater has emailed you the Serial Code to activate your software. Open the email, find the Serial Code, and follow the steps below to register.
Register Serial Number
- Go to the Redeem Serial page.
- Enter your Serial Code and click Apply.
Download and Install
Modalics software is downloaded from the My Orders page.
Download and install software
- Go to the My Orders page.
- Click your product’s download button compatible with your computer.
- Open your Downloads folder and run the installer:
- PC: Right-click the .zip file, select Extract all…, then click Extract. In the new folder, double-click the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Mac: Double-click the .zip file to unpack it. Double-click the .pkg file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Activate License
- Go to the My Orders page.
- Click your product’s license download button.
- Open your software to activate your license.

If you do not, interest will be charged on the promo balance from the purchase date. The required minimum monthly payments may or may not pay off the promo balance before the end of the promo period, depending on purchase amount, promo length and payment allocation. The estimated required monthly payment shown which excludes taxes and delivery equals the amount financed divided by the number of months in the promo period, rounded up to the next cent. During the last month(s) of the promo period the required monthly payment may be reduced due to this rounding. These payments apply only with the financing offer shown. If you make these payments by the due date each month, you should pay off this amount financed within the promo period, if it is the only balance you are paying off. If you have other balances on your account, this payment will be added to any other minimum monthly payments.
