How can I make the MOTU MTPAV sync with Steinberg Nuendo?
To make the MTPAV the timecode master, go into Nuendo to Transport – Sync Setup. Change
Timecode Source : Midi Timecode
Machine Control : MIDI Machine Control
MIDI Machine Control Settings – Midi Output : any port on the MTPAV
MIDI Timecode Settings – MIDI Input : MTPAV Sync
You will not need to send MIDI timecode or MIDI clock. Make sure the ONLINE button on the transport is checked (or press T for Sync Online). The MTPAV does not need any special settings, the factory defaults will work fine.
