My Mac gives me an error 3 message when I try to configure OMS.
A. This is also caused by extensions from other manufacturers that may conflict with the MIDISport. We worked very closely with Apple in developing the MIDISport drivers, and are certain of their reliability in OS 8.6. One extension that we know conflicts is the USB Floppy Enabler for the Imation Super Disk as well as for other floppy drives (this is true of OS8.6, but not 9.0 and higher, in which case it is necessary). We understand that this comes as an optional download, but may be included in the later driver packages for the Super Disk. We have also found that the Keyspan USB to Serial Converter causes a conflict, and possibly the Umax Scanner.
We do have an OMS driver now that is designed to work with the USB Floppy Enabler. It is the 1.06 OMS driver, which is posted on our driver download page. If you have not yet installed your MIDISport drivers, you can download the driver installer program (you should have OMS installed first). If you have already installed the MIDISport drivers, just download the OMS driver only, and replace the one that is in your OMS folder.
