Key Transposition on a DX7
The Pitch on a DX7 can be transposed +/- 24 semitones from middle ‘C’ (C3).
1) Press the [KEY TRANSPOSE] button and then press the keyboard key corresponding to the desired amount of transposition.
EXAMPLE: To transpose up one octave (12 semitones), press the [KEY TRANSPOSE] button and then press C4 on the keyboard.
NOTE: If C3 is pressed when setting the transposition parameter, the DX7 will return to standard pitch (A=440).
