Can I just pull my drive from the caddy since it’s “Hot swappable” ?
yes and No
1) 1st select the drive bay in question and hit the selector button that corresponds
2) it will say “DISMOUNT drive 1? – YES or NO”
3) at this time you can choose with the YES/No buttons to dismount or not
*** Note – if you do not dismount your drive you run the risk of lossed data or permanent drive damage***
