When I installed Pro Tools LE for my Mbox2Pro, Pro Tools won’t launch on my Mac. I get the message, “unable to locate Digidesign hardware…”
This can happen if the wrong version The MBox2Pro originally came with two installer disks:
– PTLE v7.1.2 is for Windows systems and PPC Macs (G4 and G5 models)
– PTLE v7.1.3 is for Intel-based macs.
In most cases, simply installing PTLE 7.1.3 in place of 7.1.2 will fix this issue on intel-based Macs.
