How do I install my MOTU parallel port MIDI interface in Windows XP?
1. Download the newest drivers from www.motu.com and unzip them to a folder you can find easily (we suggest C:\MOTU)
2. Run Setup in that directory.
3. Start – Settings – Control Panel – Add new hardware
4. Next
5. Yes I have connected the hardware – Next
6. Scroll down to bottom, select Add a new hardware device – Next
7. Install manually – Next
8. Sound, Video, and Game Controllers – Next
9. Have Disk
10. Browse and browse to the folder where you unzipped the drivers – Select MotuPar.inf – Open.
11. OK
12. Select Motu Parallel MIDI Interface – Next
13. Next
14. Continue Anyway (Microsoft digital signing)
15. If it asks to overwrite a file, select NO.
16. Finish
17. It will find new hardware, select Install Automatically – Next
18. Continue Anyway (Microsoft digital signing)
19. Finish
20. You will need to reboot for the midi device to install into all locations
