How do I update my PreSonus StudioLive 16.4.2 firmware (from v1.12 or below)?
If you have a StudioLive 16.4.2, Universal Control 1.5 will not support the upgrade if your mixer has firmware version 1.12. Universal Control 1.2 does have support. You can download UC 1.2 at the following links:

If you already have Universal Control 1.5 installed, you’ll need to uninstall it before installing version 1.2. If you’re not sure how to do that, click here.
Once you have Universal Control 1.2 installed, you’re ready to update the firmware on your SL 16.4.2. Follow these steps:
- Restart your computer.
- Connect your Studio Live to your computer.
- Launch Universal Control. You should be prompted with instructions to update your firmware.
- After completing the update, disconnect your SL mixer from your computer.
You can now uninstall UC 1.2 and install the latest version of UC. Once you’ve done so, repeat the update process for your SL firmware to make sure it’s running the latest version.
