How do I set up my Bricasti Model 7 to use the AES I/O?
In order to make use of the digital I/O on your Bricasti Model 7, you need to set the Audio Format to Digital. Here’s how:
- Press the System key and use the cursor keys to find Audio Format in the menu
- Use the knob to select Digital, then press Enter
- The M7 will now accept any AES single wire data stream with sample rates from 44.1kHz to 192kHz
Note: it is important that you use a proper AES cable and not a standard XLR microphone cable when using the AES I/O on the Model 7.
