How do I perform a factory reset on my Boss ES-8 switching system?
In order to reset the ES-8 to the factory default settings, do the following:
- Press the EDIT button
- Press the Left/Right Arrow buttons until you get to the Utility category
- Press ENTER
- Press the Page Right button until you get to the Factory Reset screen
- Press ENTER
- Using the Page Left/Right and -/+ buttons, you can set the range of data you wish to reset
- From: ranges from System (all system settings will be reset), or leaving System settings the same and starting the reset at a specific patch
- To: sets the highest numbered patch in the specified range to be reset
