How do I do a hard reset on my DM24?

To do a Hard reset you must…

1)power the unit down
2)Hold down “2nd F” button below the clock source area, the “High” button iin the EQ area and the “Minus” key in the library area and power the unit on…
3)you are now in the Diagnostic mode
4)There are many options but you will concentrate on 2 options
1st – SRAM Init – ***NOTE – do not use SRAM init factory – this is only for a Tascam authorized repair person***
2nd – FLASH Information Clear

5) scroll to each of the options and hit the enter Key for each selection –
as you select each box and hit enter , it will ask you, ARE you sure? and you will Enter again and then scroll to the next option –

6) when both of these are done you will scroll down to EXIT and the machine will reset itself in about 30 seconds….
