Formatting the CF card on the BR-600
The following procedure can be used to clear the internal memory and reload the factory settings:
(CAUTION!!!!: All USER information will be lost!!! Be sure to back up any information you wish to keep!!!)
When you have purchased a new CF (Compact Flash) card or are using a CF card formatted for another device, you must first initialize the card for use with the BR-600. Please use the following steps to format the card.
1) Press the UTILITY button and then use the CURSOR buttons to select “initialize” and then press the ENTER button.
2) Use the CURSOR buttons to select “card” and then press the ENTER button twice.
