How do I copy a Track (or Loop) on the Boss BR-600?
1. Making sure that the PAD button is off, press UTILITY.
2. CURSOR to TRK and then press ENTER.
3. CURSOR to CPY and then press ENTER.
4. Use the TIME/VALUE wheel to select TME/MES for the Edit Type and the press ENTER.
5. CURSOR to the TR number on the left half of the display and then use the TIME/VALUE wheel to select the source track that you want to copy.
6. CURSOR to the TR number on the right half of the display and the use the TIME/VALUE wheel to select the destination track that you want to copy to.
Note-To create a ‘loop’ the source and destination tracks will be the same.
7. Press ENTER.
8. Use the CURSOR buttons and the TIME/VALUE wheel to select the START time of the material that you want to copy and then press ENTER.
Note-The numbers in the upper half of the screen allow you to select your edit points using Measures and Beats. The Numbers in the lower half of the screen allow you to define edit points by using Hours:Minutes:Seconds:Frames-SubFrames.
9. Use the CURSOR buttons and the TIME/VALUE wheel to select the END time of the material that you want to copy and then press ENTER.
10.Use the CURSOR buttons and the TIME/VALUE wheel to select the new location that you want the copy to begin.(The TO time)
Note- To create a ‘loop’ that begins where the original material ends, make the ‘TO’ time the same as the ‘END’ time.
12. Press ENTER.
13. Use the TIME/VALUE wheel to select how many times that you want the ‘loop’ to repeat.
14. Press ENTER two times.
