Why won’t the Firewire410 show up on the MIDI page of Audio Midi Setup?
This can be caused by midi drivers being installed on the computer that aren’t being addressed by hardware.
Check in MacHD/Library/Audio/Midi Drivers for drivers that are installed but not being used by available hardware. Some software installers will install the Emagic or Digidesign drivers even if you’re not using the corresponding hardware.
