I keep getting error messages in Pro Tools 7.3 (or 7.4) to increase/decrease the H/W Buffer Size in the Playback Engine on a new Creation Station computer.
Owners of certain Creation Station computers purchased after February 2008 may need to switch the firewire port they are using.
Because of a motherboard change by the manufacturer, Sweetwater was forced to include a sperate firewire PCI card on certain models of Creation Stations to maintain their compatibility with various audio interfaces, to include Digidesign models. Make sure that you are using the PCI firewire ports that are installed in the last PCI slot on the back of the computer. The other onboard Firewire ports are fine for use with external hard drives.
