DJ.Studio Software Activation Instructions
Getting Started
In this guide, we will show you how to activate and access your DJ.Studio software. To continue, follow each of the sections below.
Download and install DJ.Studio
DJ.Studio software is downloaded from the DJ.Studio Downloads page.
- Go to the DJ.Studio Downloads page.
- Click your product’s download button compatible with your computer.
- Open your Downloads folder and run the installer:
- PC: Right-click the .zip file, select Extract all…, then click Extract. In the new folder, double-click the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Mac: Double-click the .zip file to unpack it. Double-click the .pkg file and follow the on-screen instructions.
DJ.Studio Account
DJ.Studio software requires a DJ.Studio account. If you already have a DJ.Studio account and wish to register your new software to that account, please verify the username and login before proceeding. Most users will only have one account, but in some cases, you may wish to create another account to distinguish different locations, users, etc…
IMPORTANT!
Do not create multiple DJ.Studio accounts if you only need one. Instead, try accessing the account using your current login. If necessary, try resetting your password or recovering your account login.
Either log in to your current DJ.Studio account or create a new one, then proceed to Register Activation Code.
Log in to current DJ.Studio account
- Open the DJ.Studio app and click Log in.
- Complete the login form.
- Verify your current products are registered to the current account.
Create new DJ.Studio account
- Open the DJ.Studio app and click Create account.
- Complete the registration form.
- Sign in using your new login to verify your account.
Activate License Code
Sweetwater has emailed you the Activation Code to activate your software. Open the email, find the Activation Code, and follow the steps below to register.
- Open DJ.Studio and log in.
- Click the Settings menu and select Billing.
- Click Billing, enter your Activation Code, and click Activate.

If you do not, interest will be charged on the promo balance from the purchase date. The required minimum monthly payments may or may not pay off the promo balance before the end of the promo period, depending on purchase amount, promo length and payment allocation. Regular account terms apply to non-promo purchases and, after promo period ends, to the promo balance. New Accounts as of 07/31/2025: Purchase APR is 34.99%. Penalty APR is 39.99%. The estimated required monthly payment shown which excludes taxes and delivery equals the amount financed divided by the number of months in the promo period, rounded up to the next cent. During the last month(s) of the promo period the required monthly payment may be reduced due to this rounding. These payments apply only with the financing offer shown. If you make these payments by the due date each month, you should pay off this amount financed within the promo period, if it is the only balance you are paying off. If you have other balances on your account, this payment will be added to any other minimum monthly payments.
