How to deinstall Unity DS1 (useful for removing demos, or if a reinstall is required)
The easiest way to do this is to use Sherlock2 from the Apple Menu (or FIND from the file menu) and type in “unity”. Whatever Sherlock lists can be dragged directly from the sherlock window to the trash.
The most important items to look for are located in the follow locations… all of them have names starting with “Unity”
– System folder > FreeMIDI Folder > Unity…
– System folder > OMS Folder > Unity…
– System folder > Extensions > Unity…
– System folder > Extensions > MOTU > plug-ins Unity…
– System folder > Control Panels > Unity…
– System folder > Preferences > Unity…
– and the Unity DS-1 folder on the Macintosh HD
If some of these are not there, that’s OK, just trash what you can find.
