DAE -6085 error in Pro Tools
You can encounter this error when using an unsupported Firewire drive
Firewire drives must have the Oxford 911 Bridge Chip
7200 RPM with 10 ms or less seek time
This error has been seen repeatedly with Acom Firewire drives
If drive proves to be supported
– Try partitioning the drive
– Limit the open ended Rec allocation found in the Setups> Preferences > Operations tab > limit to 10 mins
