Creating a click track in Pro Tools.
Version 7.3 and higher:
1. Go to Track > Create Click Track. Everything you need will be created automatically.
Versions 7.0 to 7.2:
1. Create a Mono Aux Input: Track > New > Mono Aux Input > click Create
2. Go to your Mix window: Windows – Show Mix
3. Raise the fader on the Aux track to the desired level
4. On the new Aux track, choose the top plugin insert button, and go to Plug-in > Instrument > Click (mono)
5. Click on the metronome icon in the Transport (blue is on)
Version 6.4 to 6.9:
1. Create a Mono Aux Input: File > New Track > Mono Aux Input > click Create
2. Go to your Mix window: Windows – Show Mix
3. Raise the fader on the Aux track to the desired level
4. On the new Aux track, choose the top plugin insert button, and go to Plug-in > Instrument > Click (mono)
5. Click on the metronome icon in the Transport (blue is on)
