How do I configure Logic to use my Tranzport?
The documentation provides 2 choices for Logic installation. Both are shown below. While testing at Sweetwater we found that option #2 works best and therefore recommend NOT using option #1.
Once installed, launch Logic and it should automatically bring up the Control Surface Setup window and show an icon of the Tranzport. If this occurs, you’re ready to go. Simply close the Control Surface Setup window and start working!
INSTALL OPTIONS
1. Copy the Logic Pro 7 TransPort.bundle file into Library/Application Support/MIDI Device Plug-ins. If the folder “MIDI Device Plug-ins” does not already exist in Application Support then it can be created.

2. CTRL+Click on the “Logic Pro” icon in your Applications folder and select “Show Package Contents”. Click on “Contents”, then “MIDI Device Plug-Ins”. Copy the Logic Pro 7 TransPort.bundle file into the MIDI Device Plug-Ins folder and close the window.
