Why does my computer show a blue screen Protection Error when I install the EZBus on a Windows ME machine?
This error only occurs if you failed to follow the installation instructions. You will still be able to boot your computer as long as the EZBus is disconnected.
The very first thing that you need to do is to run the Windows Millenium update on the EZbus CDROM prior to connecting the EZbus to the USB port. Then run the setup.exe on the CDROM. Then connect the EZbus to the USB port. Windows will find a new device and load the appropriate drivers.
