My CME VX8 is not functioning properly. Is there a reset?
To reset VX,please hold and press”Octave+/-” two buttons while powering it on. When you see “Factory set, are you sure?” on the screen,please press “Enter” to confirm.
If this does not help,please hold and press “Master”+”Assign” while powering it on to check the firmware version.
If you can not check the firmware version,please hold and press “Utility”+”Expansion”while turning it on,to see whether you can come into the upgrade mode.The screen should say “FlashROM update Utility”.
If yes,please connect to your computer,and update the firmware again using VXBrain software, http://www.cme-pro.com/en/support.php?type=app (We have two versions,VX Brain v1.1 beta and VX Brain v1.1 for Intel Mac) The latest firmware is v1.09.
