Why can’t I load different instruments onto different MIDI channels in Native Instruments Absynth in standalone mode?
Absynth is not multitimbral when used in standalone mode. To get multitimbral mode (ability to use different instruments on different MIDI channels) you will need to use Absynth with a compatable host application with multiple instances of Absynth.
