I cannot install Sampletank for Pro Tools on Windows. What am I missing?
If you bought Sampletank and only the VST/MAS are showing up as the options you have here is what you need to do.
1. Take the serial # that you received and go to www.sampletank.com
2. You will receive an email back with a username, password & link the personal users site. Go here and log in.
3. Go to option 3: Download Software updates and free content.
4. Now download the RTAS version for MAC/PC, once you download install it then launch Pro Tools.
5. You should have an authorization form coming up now. There is a long number at the top called the Digital ID. Copy this number down.
6. Log back into the User Area and choose option 1: Request new auth code. You will see you Sampletank registration there. There is a place to enter your Digital ID in the empty block. DOUBLE CHECK the numbers to make sure they are correct.
7. Now once you do this you will get the auth code 2 ways. It will be emailed to you right then, but it will also show up after you click continue.
8. Enter this in the Auth form that came up in Pro Tools.
